| The Teacher's Edition of Heritage Studies 3 provides the instructor with time saving lesson plans that give historical details and background information which enhance the study. The teacher's instruction wraps around the student text providing easy access to the student book while teaching the lesson. The lesson includes the main ideas from the text, objectives for the student to master and materials needed to effectively communicate heritage studies. The material not only contains history, geography, economics, culture, and government but also knowledge of God and Christian character. Enrichment activities are provided as well as additional teacher information. Strengthening the lesson are reproducible pictures, tables, maps and activities for the student which are located at the end of the chapter. The seventy lessons can be divided to teacher two to three times over a year or every day over a semester with some free weeks to accommodate scheduled practices and outings.(150 words. |
